Iniala is an unconventional brand; a stunning beach house set on the shores of Natai in Phang Nga that comprises three different villas, all with individually designed suites and one penthouse suite. Iniala also offers a kid's hotel that is a magical playground and stuff of dreams for children, as well as a fantastic restaurant, Aziamendi.
Whilst representing Iniala we established that it was a celebration of the "trilogy of gastronomy, architecture and art." Iniala also has a strong philanthropic heart, with the owner, Mark Weingard creating the Inspirasia Foundation. At Iniala, 10% of all room revenues and 5% of other revenues, goes to charity that is committed to funding exceptional health, disability and education projects across Thailand, Indonesia and India.
We came on board to help with international PR and to also serve the role as PR and Marketing Communications director. It was our job to pitch to media, to respond to media enquiries and requests, and to also oversee marketing communications. We organised several successful media familiarisation trips, one to celebrate the launch of a $1,000 menu with fine wines and another to re-launch Aziamendi and introduce the new Chef de Cuisine to local, national and regional travel journalists.
Due to the sheer enormity of the product, the positioning of Iniala was a challenge. It may seem small with just three villas and a penthouse but due to the level of attention to detail, quality, talented team members, and unique design and architecture of every room, each villa and each suite required individual PR positioning.
During our time with Iniala Beach House we represented them in Kuala Lumpur when the culinary team resided at the Mandarin Oriental's Grill with a pop up event named 'Aziamendi 88'. We also created the launch materials for the new events and weddings venue 'Iniala White'. We are still friends of Iniala and will take on projects with them from time to time. Iniala is simply jaw dropping and it is always a privilege for us to be part of their team.
